POSTERS OF SHACKLETON'S 'ENDURANCE' EXPEDITION
A series of impressive Shackleton-related posters are now available at the Pondaray website in the United States.
They include pictures of Endurance at night (specially lit by Frank Hurley), and also Endurance superimposed by Hurley on a vast berg, of the crew on the ice, of Blackborow with 'Mrs. Chippy', Hussey with the huge dog Samson and Crean with puppies, the famous picture of the Night Watch crew members gathered by the stove, and of the men hauling the James Caird across the ice.

The website also states 'We are pleased to offer a fantastic selection of 65 hand-finished Hurley photographic prints, limited to 400 copies of each print, printed using the original glass-plate negatives in the possession of the Royal Geographical Society. All photographs are hand-printed to exhibition standards on the finest fiber-based paper, and are individually numbered by hand and sold with a certificate of authenticity. Each image measures approximately 12 x 16 inches (paper size 16 x 20 inches). For anyone new to Frank Hurley's photographs, this will be the beginning of a wonderful voyage of discovery.'
